Cupcake (and Elmo)

Cupcake had another check-up. The prednisone is making her feel better, and she has gained a lot of weight. She went from 16oz to 24oz!

They said he leg looks good, but that she will always have a bit of a limp because it healed a bit off.

She still has little bruises and they said that is because her platelet count is too low, so we have to be careful that she does not play too rough.

The better she feels, the more she wants to get into trouble, so it is a challenge to keep her from acting like a ferret.

Elmo exceeded the weight limit on the carton, and it collapsed.

Everything was in bloom at the Zoo. I planned to take macro shots of the flowers, but I thought the blue sky through the blooms was weird enough to be interesting. I did get a few strange looks, though.

I took this photo a few days ago. It means so much more now that she is gone. Lance grew up with Baby Kitty and they were always best friends.

I was with her when she took her last breath today. She was purring right until the end. I looked into her eyes and I saw the life leave them. I will miss her desperately. She was the sweetest kitty ever.
