Goodnight Grover

We said goodnight to our very special old friend tonight. Grover was the sweetest, most gentle creature I have ever encountered. He was a single guy, but he took care of Bubbles and Betty in their last days and he nurtured a baby kitten that we brought home, as if it was his own baby. I will never forget the way he smelled like French toast and loved to put all the toys away. I will miss him forever.

I was shocked and devastated to hear that someone killed Dimebag and a bunch of innocent kids at a Damageplan concert in Columbus. How horrible that people have to risk their lives to entertain people, or to even attend a concert. My kids ask me all the time to take them to concerts. I was worried about their hearing, I guess I have a lot more to worry about.
This is so sickening. He will be greatly missed. How ironic and sad that he was killed on the same day as John Lennon.
